Got this in the mail last week. I love the monochrome print of the lyrics booklet. The bonus photos that came from CDJapan this time are OK. Like always, I was really hoping for Kojiharu xD. I can live with Takamina x Sayanee, but I must say the photo is really creepy because of their make-up haha. An interesting thing to note is it is a photo of two leaders of their respective groups.

My theater edition is coming from eBay soon hopefully, so stay tuned!

Wow it’s been a while since I last posted! I was very busy last week with school.

This album took ages to get to me…more than 2 weeks! CDJapan sent me the shipping notification on the 2nd, and I received the actual package on the 18th. This is the second time it’s taken so long; airmail is usually very reliable and only takes a week max. I’m just glad the album didn’t get lost. I was looking forward to it for the longest time.

Got this a while ago and was too lazy to put it up until today (what else is new XD?). I love the packaging on this single. The outer sleeve is so shiny and embossed; all the members pop out :D!. I’m quite satisfied with the bonus photo CDJapan provided this time, although there is a Kojiharu one shot out there from a different retailer >.<.

I'm all caught up…for now XD.

Seems like HMV gives out better first press bonus photos than CDJapan =|. I can live with solo Jurina shots, but it surely doesn’t beat HMV’s Kojiharu-Jurina-Yuko bonus photo. No idea what HMV’s first press for “Koko ni Ita Koto” is, but I’m guessing it’s better than the Miichan-Sae combo CDJapan offers.

With this I finally possess every version of AKB48’s newest single ^^. The deluxe box design of AKB48’s newest album is gorgeous. I also love the nice slip case that comes with the new B’z single. Out of all these items, the only regret I have is paying $31 dollars for the theater edition of Everyday.

LUNA SEA's comeback tour concert in Blu-ray, "LUNA SEA 20th Anniversary World Tour REBOOT -to the New Moon- 24th December, 2010 at Tokyo Dome" first press w/ poster.

 

First press bonus poster that came with LUNA SEA's release. This is by far the most EPIC poster I own.

 
If there’s one thing I love about CDJapan, it is their consistency and reliability. They will go to all lengths to make sure your order is packed properly. Take this order for example. Instead of folding up the poster like some other places, it’s rolled up nicely and sturdily to prevent any damage. Then it’s placed in an appropriate-sized box that will fit everything. Their CDs are always bubble wrapped, and their posters are always wrapped in a layer of tissue paper for an elegant appearance. I don’t think I’ve ever had a single item from CDJapan that came damaged because of faulty packaging.

With this, I’m pretty much caught up with releases from the last few months. The single by WISE featuring Kanayan came out in the middle of March. I don’t care too much for WISE or his music, but I do care for Kanayan’s voice :D. The only reason I got this single is because Kana sings a significant part of the song.

LUNA SEA’s concert in Blu-ray came out at the end of April. I now own two Blu-ray release from them. Interestingly enough, both are concerts that were played at Tokyo Dome on the same date of the year. The first one was their one night reunion concert on Christmas Eve back in 2007, and this one is their comeback tour concert exactly four years later. Events as big as these definitely deserve to be viewed in the highest definition :). The poster that came with the release is pretty awesome. I’m glad I was able to grab one of the last few first press bonuses. Looking forward to watching this. I know it’ll either be on the same level or even better than their one night reunion gig.

Finally, “Esperanza” actually came out today. My next order should be coming from HMV Japan next week when AKB48’s new single hits.
