Namie Amuro – New album PVs “ONLY YOU”, “In The Spotlight (TOKYO)”, “Let’s Go”

Better late than never! Here are three promotional videos from Namie Amuro‘s new album Uncontrolled.

First up is ONLY YOU. Download it here.

What a beautiful music video! The scenery is breathtaking and perfect for summer. Of course, Namie is the gem of this PV. She looks fantastic in that dress.

ONLY YOU sounds amazing. It’s an all English song, and surprisingly, her English pronunciation is perfect! It feels like I’m flying when I listen to this. I love the beat and her singing is like a lullaby. ONLY YOU is definitely one of her best works to date. I’d say it’s good enough to be played on the radio here.

Next is In The Spotlight (TOKYO). Download it here.

This seems more like it in terms of Namie’s style and image as the Queen of Hip-pop. It’s very mainstream but there’s something to be said of the quality and direction.

In The Spotlight (TOKYO) is another all English song, but I didn’t find this one to be as smooth. I can understand everything she’s saying, which is good, but the pronunciation this time isn’t quite there. The lyrics border on lame, but overall I think Namie did a great job pulling off this kind of song.

Lastly, we have Let’s Go. Download it here.

Damn Namie…HOT DAMN. She turns it on in this music video. Other than that its pretty straightforward. I stared at her perfect bod most of the time XD.

Let’s Go sounds like a filler track. It’s kind of short and I don’t find anything special about it, besides the suggestive lyrics.

Namie Amuro – “Love Story” PV

Here’s the PV for Namie Amuro‘s “Love Story”. The track appears as an A-side on her recently released single “Sit! Stay! Wait! Down! / Love Story“. The video can be downloaded here, but there may be some annoying ads XD.

This actually aired way back in the beginning of December and I totally missed it on Jpopsuki -_-. There’s not too much to say about the PV; it has a very natural feeling to it. It reminds me of Baby Don’t Cry‘s PV with Amuro walking and singing. She’s such an exotic and beautiful woman ;).

The song is amazing @_@. I wasn’t expecting anything bad, but this totally blew me away! I always forget how great her voice is; it has so much substance behind it. The chorus is powerful because of this and hits you hard.

“Love Story” is an excellent winter ballad. I don’t know how the other A-side is, but I’ll most likely get it for this song alone!
