Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 – New 10th single “Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke!” PV, release on 5/30

Here’s the PV for Watarirouka Hashiritai 7‘s upcoming single Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke!Download it here.

What an adorable and innocent music video! It fits WH7’s image perfectly. All the members look very cute but it’s a little weird seeing Nacchan being replaced by the older Cindy. Compared to the other six members anyone can tell she’s the oldest, and WH7 has always been a group that gives off a young fresh image. I did not expect the ending of this PV; it was nice of them to include the little dialogue to conclude a wonderful story :).

Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke! is an easy song to get into and I have so much fun singing along :D. It really seems geared towards little kids with the counting and alphabet. The chorus is quite addicting because of this, and I love how many solo lines each member gets in the verses. They are practically all solo lines!

Everything about this release clicks; the song with the PV with WH7’s image. It will be coming out on the same day as Not yet‘s upcoming single. Now that I’ve heard both I really have no idea which will come out on top. They are equally addicting!

Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 – New single “Kibou Sanmyaku” PV, release on 11/30

Watarirouka Hashiritai 7‘s PV for their upcoming single “Kibou Sanmyaku” was aired recently. Find it in HD glory here.

This PV is awesome! I love the vintage theme and its presentation. The whole stage performance really looks like an authentic one from the 60s or 70s. I love how the crowd goes bonkers watching them XD. Mayuyu is cute as always. Komorin and Ayarin look a little weird with their hairdos.

Even the sound of “Kibou Sanmyaku” is reminisicent of something from Japan’s 60s or 70s. It’s unconventional for today’s mainstream, but in no way does that mean it’s bad. It’s actually quite refreshing and addicting to listen to as a result. The strong point about this song definitely has to be the booming and all-powerful chorus.

If you’re a fan of this group or have an oshi in any one of the members, this is certainly not a single to be missed! Even though I’m not too big on the squeaky nasally voices, I’m considering getting a copy myself.
